Excel Dryer

Excel Dryer created and leads the high-speed hand dryer industry with made-in-America products. Part of their mission is to change the perception of hand dryers. Their product is technologically advanced and elegantly designed. They wanted a series of full-page print ads targeting architects and developers to feature their new environmentally-friendly corporate headquarters, plus social media posts highlighting their sustainable partners. In addition, Excel collaborates with the D|13 Group on a line of sleek sink decks that include the hand dryer as a fixture beside the faucet. An ad for their compact single-space white sink deck contains one of the all-time great headlines ever written—that I conceived during a marathon concept session at Darby O’Brien Agency: Tighty Whitey. Thank you very much. Don’t forget to tip your waitress on the way out.

When Excel wanted a standout business card, I researched recycled plastic and worked with a specialty printer in Minneapolis. The company logo floats on a translucent tinted blue, and the back of the card contain one of five product shots featuring the XLERATOR label.
